Run by Maa Gangey Prasidhey Education Foundation, a Society registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 , Shree Dev Bhoomi Institute of Education, Science & Technology, Vill. Mazhon P.O Poundha, District Dehradun, started functioning from the Academic Session 2005-06. It is located on the bank of a stream, known as Neemi in Village Mazhon (Dehradun) at a Pin-Drop, silent, dust-free and noise free peaceful zone. Nature has gifted this site with hilly terrains and dense forest all around and a perenial water running stream which ads to its beauty and suitability for an ideal and best suited site for Educational Institutions. In other words we can say it as a mesmerizing spot in the heavens a bode. It is connected to the National Highway, Dehradun -Chakarata Road by a all weather metal-led Road and is at a distance of about 13 kms from Clock tower, Dehradun.
Eligibility Criteria:Passing Higher Secondary or equivalent is a must.Minimum of 40% in the qualifying exam.English should be one of the subjects.

College maintains four separate laboratories each for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science. These are equipped with adequate facilities and modern equipment. Internet facility is open to students to help them undertake project work. Research facilities are available in various Departments of the College. Candidates wanting to conduct research work under the guidance of a teacher of the college are given admission in the form of research students.
The computer systems are also used to undertake research and data processing. Internet access, availability of latest versions of software for programming, data base management, multimedia applications and printing facilities enhance the learning effect.
A double storeyed Institute's own hostel building consisting of rooms is under completion stage. It will accommodate a total no. of students at the rate of two/three students per room with Mess facilities, recreation facilities , sports & games facilities and other essential requisites. However, presently Institute had made hostelling arrangements by hiring private accommodation in the neighborhood of the Institute, where presently hostler students are accommodated with all basic amenities.
The College also maintains a comprehensive library with a large number of titles covering every field of knowledge. The books for the library are selected after consultation with the College staff and other eminent educationists. The library follows an open shelf system to allow the students wide reading choice. A very large collection of books, journals and periodicals from book publishers as well as other reputed management institutes along with the annual corporate reports offer a massive window to the outside world. Well furnished reading rooms are provided for individual reading and also for deliberations in groups.
Health care of students is given priority. The students are subjected to medicalchecks. An infirmary is maintained in the College with essential First Aidfacilities.
The Institute conducts both Indoor and Outdoor games like: Table Tennis, Badminton, Carom and Cricket. Various events and cultural programmers on different occasion are also held and prizes are distributed to the 1 ,2dn and 3 position holders.
Transportation : Transport Facilities for student residing out side hostel, from place of stay to the Institute and back are available on reasonable charges. Similar transport facilities are also being availed by the Institute staff.
Educational Tour : Educational /industrial tours for students to one of the pharmaceutical concerns/hospital/Research Institute of repute, are also arranged by the Institute to have a first hand experience in their respective fields of learning, coupled with variance in atmosphere , cultural and Geographical character-sticks.
Canteen : A Canteen is also provided in the Institute campus, where tea break-fast lunch and dinner and other eatable items are served to the student and staff at reasonable rates.
4.Personality Development Programs:- Like other fields , Education is also bound to under go transformation. It is due to this well acknowledged fact, that the faculty and students, both, look forward for better infrastructure, disseminating information and techniques which ads feather to their knowledge and enables them to face the challenges of life, thus resulting in becoming a useful member of the society. Priority is now being given to the field of education for employment and career prospectus. It is due to increased competition in this field, that to ensured growth of promising professionals, the Institute has decided to introduce a Personality Development, English speaking, writing and Computer course for the students from the academic session 2011-12. Faculty and other staff will also be benefited from these courses.
The institute has been efficiently engaged in the training & placement of students. The institute involves a sense of confidence among the students regarding their future. It has been making systematic effort to arrange guest lecture, seminar, industrial visit, suitable summer training & dissertation work for the students.
